We take our name from the Greek mythological figure, Glaucus. A sea divinity who was originally a fisherman and diver. Legend says that he discovered a magical herb that made fish immortal. He also ate the herb and upon entering the sea, he was changed into an immortal God of the sea in the shape of a merman.

Our connection to the sea is almost as strong. Working in a plant or on fishing vessels in the summers, many of us grew up working in Iceland's fish industry. As such, we have extensive experience and expertise utilizing our region's natural resources. It is who we are. Our native relationship with the ocean, and with each other, makes us uniquely qualified to provide the finest available seafood.

We believe ours is the “fish of the gods”.
